GARDEN WHISPERS

Image
As I patiently wait for flowers to bloom, I ponder the whispers of my garden’s womb.   As the breeze blares and touches my brown skin I feel the gentle caress where new dreams begin   New plants mirror generations to come; tree shadows shield us from the scorching sun.   Withered leaves remind me, soft and kind, All things pass with time, let's hold that  in mind.   White hibiscus buds reach toward the skies, a beacon of hope, a promise that never lies.   Sunlight graciously infuses life, Flowers burst forth with quiet pride. Rain becomes their faithful friend, nurturing soil, helping some to mend   Tall plants shelter and shadow the young ones, They're small, yet they stand where glory runs.   Orange bougainvillea starts to appear, dangling to the ground, like my spirit blossoms bright, wild and round.   Red blooms guard my welcoming entrance, showing strong and blissful abundance.   These simple sights feed my vibrant glee As I savored...

THE LOST CAR KEY

The lost car key... As I sipped my coffee, talking with my father-in-law, I heard the birds chirping merrily outside the window. BOY

Image
BOY   For many years we've been together, God strengthened me, in my fate of life, ever.   I became a mother eagle, soaring high in the sky, Ready to face the storms of life that I couldn't sigh.   Through the years you struggled with your illness, God comforted your pain and forgave your soreness.   You rejoiced despite suffering and earthly pain, Because our Lord Jesus prepared your room in heaven.   Thank you for preparing and molding me, helping me face fate's challenges, Difficult as my path may be, I bravely faced the treacherous path it weaves.   In your sighs and sobs, in your awakening and anxiety, Unknowingly, you built a beautiful family, a wonderful legacy.   Despite your way of loving, your anger, and discipline, Still you are loved dearly by your siblings and children.   We will not forget your laughter and your cries, We will always reminisce about the smoothness of plights.   Thank you for supporting all the endeavors I starte...
