AMBER HOPES

As I gently removed 

the withered leaves 

and nurtured the 

new blossoms, 

my spirit bloomed 

with gratitude. 

I am in awe of the 

varicolored hues, 

which give me 

amber hopes and 

crimson fuel 

that flames my heart, 

always anticipating 

the ensuing 

daybreak's surprise
