AS I LISTEN DEEPLY TO MY SOUL'S WHISPER

I would like to say something about what I feel right now, connected to my garden. I don't know if it will become a poem, an essay, or just a little story. But here it is, impromptu, straight from my heart.

I look around the whole area, every corner of my garden, and I am grateful for the gray sky that I am gazing up at right now. It is a message that the day is about to end, and the night will come.

I see this house, which is a home. I love it to be filled with my children and also my grandchildren. I remember when they were small, and now they are grown up, they are now teenagers! It makes me so happy because I am not just a happy mom, but I am also a happy grandmother!

I love the green garden that surrounds me right now. Even with the scorching heat of the sun, they are still thriving to exist. They are fighting for life because they know that they are my joy, my delight.

It is silent here. It wraps my heart with so much contentment.

I love the dark and light pink flowers of bougainvillea, and the different colors like red, white, purple, and orange. I love the different shapes and colors of leaves. Their gentle waves waltz my spirit.

I love the little music I hear coming from inside my house. It makes my heart dance with glee!

I love seeing the chickens contentedly finding branches where they can rest upon. Just like my heart... after so many emotions—love, sacrifices, pains, miseries, and joy—sometimes I just want to rest and feel nothing but the love coming from Heaven.

I love the little and kind trees at my back.Their shadows seem to poke me and top my shoulder, as if saying, 'Hey, we're here! Waiting to be noticed and to be watched, also to be appreciated.'

And I love the emotions flowing in my heart, for this is the authentic and lovely me, listening deeply to the whisper of my soul.
