A TICKET GOING TO PARADISE

-

There is no velvety avenue going to heaven

If we won't undergo pain we couldn't gain

Carry our cross, get crowned by being reborn

Be glad as there is a reward in our every thorn

 

Sometimes we lose in life's arduous journey

We lack to appreciate the wonders of our glory

Pain is an element of life, don't be discouraged

Our wounds offer us a magnificent pilgrimage

 

It's time to pave the right and precise route as we age

Don't be menaced if you're judged, be still and believe

Let's clutch our repudiations to glorify God on earth

We'll win our battle if we're breathing with our faith

 

Live life entwined with suffering and tribulation

Remain steadfast on your exemplary expedition

Be reminded of the value of our every sacrifice

This is our ticket on our trip going to paradise

  SUBSTANCE OF LOVE On the misty eve of Christmas (2020), I smelled the excellent year of 2021, the year of prosperity. The year to get back to normal as everyone hopes, the year of greatness and power, implies all the experiences we had in 2020, full of challenges. The pandemic gives many twists to our life. Many failed on some plans because of the travel restrictions. Yet,  we can say we need to wait for God's perfect time. Just trust in Him. The pandemic protocols of various places make us dizzy, yet we have learned a lot to deal with it. I looked at it with a grain of salt.
